1. Who we are

Bedtime Stories («قصص قبل النوم») operates this app. Contact: support@bedtimewithstories.com.

2. Who the app is for

The app is for parents who set up a bedtime story for a child roughly aged 3–8. The parent is the account holder, enters the child’s details, and plays the stories. We do not ask children to create an account or submit their own information.

3. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the account and create a story:

• The parent’s email address and password (the password is stored by Firebase; we never see it in plain text).
• Account preferences: language, bedtime-reminder time if you enable it, and subscription tier.
• Child profile entered by the parent: name, age, interests, values, and chosen narrator voice.
• Optional (every plan, including Free): a 1–2 minute recording of the parent’s own voice, used only to clone a narrator for that child’s stories. We never ask the child to record, and we do not accept a child’s voice for cloning.
• Generated stories: title, text, audio, theme, length, language, creation time, and favorites.
• On the device only: signed-in session, language choice, and the active child profile.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or photos. We do not use advertising analytics. We do not send cloud push notifications. The bedtime reminder is scheduled locally on the device. We do not use the voice sample for advertising, and we do not reuse it for another child unless the parent records a separate clone for that profile.

4. How we use the information

• Create the account, sign you in, and send a password-reset email if you ask.
• Write a story using the child’s name and interests, then narrate it aloud (catalog voice or the parent’s cloned voice if they chose it).
• Run an automated safety check on the text before it reaches the child.
• Save the library so replays do not require generating the story again.
• Enforce the story limit for your plan and process subscriptions through the store.
• Schedule a local reminder at the time the parent chooses.

5. Artificial intelligence and service providers

To create a story we send the minimum needed to these processors:

• Google Firebase — account, database, audio files, and cloud functions.
• OpenAI — the child’s name, age, interests, values, story theme and language, then the story text for safety review.
• ElevenLabs — the story text, to turn it into speech, and (optional) the parent’s voice sample to create a narrator clone. We delete the sample from our Storage after the clone succeeds or fails. ElevenLabs keeps the clone until the parent deletes it in the app or the account is deleted.
• RevenueCat and Google Play — subscription status and purchase receipts. We do not receive your card number.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or let others market through the app.

6. Notifications

If you allow it, the app schedules a daily local reminder on your device. We do not collect a push-notification device token, and we do not send notifications from our servers.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep account data and stories while the account exists, so you can replay them. In-app account deletion is not available yet. Follow the account deletion page. Email support@bedtimewithstories.com from the registered address. We complete the request within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep part of it.

8. Children’s privacy

We do not collect information directly from children. Any name, age, or interest is entered by the parent to personalize a story. There are no ads, no advertising tracking, and nothing for a child to buy in the app. If we learn that a child created an account without a parent, we delete that account when notified.

9. Security and international transfer

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Server access to your data is limited to your signed-in account. Data may be processed on servers outside your country (including the United States) by Firebase and the providers above.

10. Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing us. You can turn the bedtime reminder off in Settings, delete your voice clone from the child profile, and cancel a subscription in Google Play.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new version.
